How can my Church become a Church Affiliate?

Typically, Colson Fellows, serving as lay-leaders in their local church, are the driving force behind the establishment of a Church Affiliate but not always. Increasingly, Pastors and Church Leaders are calling for assistance in equipping their congregations with a deeper understanding of Christian worldview and the times in which we live.

The Church Affiliate Program is a unique opportunity for local churches to partner with the Colson Fellows Program so they can provide best-in-class worldview formation to their members in this challenging cultural moment. As such, we invest in our church partners through free seats, reduced tuition, and staff support with the expectation that they are committed to leading the Program within their church throughout the relationship.

Following an introductory briefing, review of expectations, and evaluation, we will determine your church's eligibility. Upon approval, prospective Church Affiliates will be provided with a detailed agreement outlining the Program, including a simple plan relative to next steps and implementation. In addition, Church Affiliates can receive up to two FREE seats in the Colson Fellows Program so their church leaders can understand and evaluate the Program for themselves.

If, however, you or your church is still unsure or unwilling to maintain this commitment, you can always continue to direct your church members to the Colson Fellows Program directly. We will be happy to help them any way we can.

Who will lead our Church Affiliate?
How much does the program cost?

Licensed Church Affiliates, enter into a simple revenue-sharing arrangement where they only pay $450 per student and charge their participants up to the standard tuition rate of $900, enabling them to provide and administer the nine-month Colson Fellows Program to members of their congregation. A Senior Relationship Manager will review the details of that arrangement upon receipt of the "Let's Get Started" form.
How are the finances handled?

Each student pays their tuition directly to the Church Affiliate. We will then invoice the church for those students who remain enrolled as of October 1st. This allows your learners to get settled into the Program and ensures that you only pay for those students who are committed to completing the Program. It is important that students bear the cost of tuition as this is a graduate-level program and investment on the part of the student is essential to their commitment to finish the Program. Books are approximately $200, in addition to tuition, and can be purchased by students from a resource of their choice.
